Healthy Entrepreneurs is looking for a Country Director Uganda (fulltime)

Why are there still over 2 billion people worldwide who do not have access to basic healthcare? To solve this problem, Healthy Entrepreneurs (HE) was founded in 2012. HE deploys a last-mile distribution model to deliver affordable and reliable health products and services to the poorest families living in rural areas of Sub–Sahara Africa. Through a network of trained micro-entrepreneurs, we manage a fully integrated end-to-end supply chain of reliable products and services and ensure customers are provided with practical health information. Telehealth services offer our customers access to qualified medical staff at a distance providing them with consultations and controlled access to treatment. In this way, isolated villages are transformed into strong, well-informed, healthy communities. Currently we are serving almost 7 million people with our businesses, and HE is rapidly expanding.
HE is a social enterprise registered in The Netherlands, with activities in Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The company is currently funded by private and donor investors, moving towards private only in the future.
